Plain-English terms for working with us. The short version: you pay a setup fee and a monthly, your leads and your number stay yours, and nothing here is designed to trap you.
Who we are and what these terms cover
These terms govern your use of this website and any services you engage Convrt to provide: an AI receptionist and any related setup. By using the site or engaging our services, you agree to them.
The ROI calculator
The calculator on this site is a free tool that does plain arithmetic on numbers you type in. It multiplies your own figures together and shows you the working, so you can check every step of it.
It's an illustration rather than a forecast, and it isn't a promise of what you'd earn by working with us. The inputs are your own estimates, and the "realistic to win back" figure assumes roughly half the gap can be recovered. What actually happens depends on your business and plenty we can't see from here. None of it is financial advice: don't decide anything on that number alone, and take proper advice if you're weighing a real investment.
Pricing and payment
Your setup is quoted in writing before we start, and we don't bill by the hour. A typical engagement has two parts: a one-off build fee for setting up your system, and an ongoing monthly fee that covers the receptionist, the platform it runs on, and maintenance. Your written quote sets out both, along with what each covers.
Work begins when the quote is accepted; launch happens on receipt of the build fee unless we agree otherwise in writing. Monthly fees are billed in advance and can be cancelled anytime with effect from the next billing period. Cancelling ends the ongoing services we provide. See “What you own” for what stays yours.
What you own
Your leads are yours: every name, number and message the receptionist takes down. Your phone number and your calendar stay in your name too; we connect to them, not take them over. If we part ways, you keep them and every lead the receptionist ever captured.
The receptionist itself is a subscription and remains ours. That covers the setup, the platform it runs on and any ongoing features. It stops answering when the subscription ends. Open-source components and third-party services remain under their own licenses.
What we may showcase
We may display completed work in our portfolio and marketing unless you ask us not to in writing. We'll always honor that request.
Your responsibilities
You're responsible for the accuracy and legality of the business information, claims, offers and any content you hand us, including compliance with the rules of your industry. We build the system; you remain responsible for what your business promises.
AI features
The AI receptionist answers to your own services and prices and the rules you set, but automated systems can make mistakes. You should review calls regularly and tell us about corrections. It assists your front desk and doesn't replace your judgment, and we're not liable for bookings or statements you haven't configured it to make.
Where your area requires disclosing that a caller is speaking with an automated system, or consent before a call is recorded, meeting those requirements is your responsibility as the business the calls are for. Tell us your rules and we'll set the receptionist up to follow them.
Third-party services
The receptionist runs on third-party infrastructure, including the voice platform, telephony, calendars and payment processors. We choose reliable providers, but their availability and terms are outside our control.
Warranties and liability
We set it up carefully and fix defects in our work, but the services are provided "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted operation or specific business outcomes. No system can guarantee results. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, and neither party is liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Termination
Either party can end an engagement in writing. You pay for work completed to that point; we hand over everything you've paid for.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho. We may update them from time to time; the date at the top reflects the current version, and material changes will be posted here before they take effect.
